Peter Candela was born and raised in Rochester, New York, and is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music. He has been a freelance composer, arranger, conductor, piano accompanist, and multi instrumentalist in the New Jersey/New York City area since 1983. Peter has been subbing on keyboards in the orchestra pit for Disney’s THE LION KING since 1998. He has performed at Radio City, The Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. He has extensive background in accompanying liturgical music for many denominations, and has been at Grace Episcopal since December of 2012.
The choir at Grace is open to all, willing to devote one’s voice to God. We sing both traditional and contemporary hymns. Rehearsals are at 9 AM, Sundays, before the 10 am service.
